I find this newspaper the fastest avenue I can use to reach you, sir. I am your supporter but I have a few issues to raise.

In 2012, when you were campaigning for Jubilee, you made a stopover in a small town in Chepalungu called Sigor and said, "People of Sigor, I'm not a visitor here. Vote for us and we will reciprocate by giving you a tarmac road from Kyokong-Sigor-Emurua Dikirr in Narok County. This is a debt and you will ask me."

As you commission new tarmac roads like Silibwet-Olenguruone, Daraja Sita-Chebole and Brooke-Kipkelion, remember the forgotten Sigor.

Chepalungu is one of the most productive sub-counties in Bomet County. If you keep your promise of tarmacking the road, it will be a big boost to the tourism industry as it will act as a shortcut for tourists who are going or coming from Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Mr Deputy President, the people of Sigor have been waiting for you since that period but in vain. They are crossing their fingers day in day out with high hopes that you will come back with a basket of goodies.

Chepalungu doesn't have any single tarmac road, yet it produces thousands of sacks of maize and sweet potatoes. We also produce thousands of litres of milk. I expect the Jubilee government to tarmac at least two main roads in every sub-county.

It is exactly one year to the next general election; what will you tell us?

Secondly, there was a supremacy battle between you and Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto. The supremacy battle between the two of you shouldn't culminate in the suffering of locals. If you want to win back the hearts of the people of Chepalungu, give them resources like a technical institute, a university, tarmac road or a factory.
