Matatu crackdown on PSV is a welcome move but emphasis should be on the safety of the passengers and the mechanical condition of the vehicle and restoring sanity in the matatu industry.
That is what is vital to every matatu user. Methinks graffiti is just a minor issue which should not be given much attention.
NTSA should stop attracting media attention in order to be seen relevant rather they should put their energies on impounding un-road worthy PSV vehicles and matatus which are not registered with any Sacco.
They should also arrest reckless, over speeding and drunk drivers who kill innocent Kenyans along our major highways.
In addition they should seize Lorries ferrying bhang and other contraband products.
