The win by CORD candidate Willy Mtego in which Joho and Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi were instrumental seems to have exposed the governors to intimidation.
The withdrawal of the governor‘s security and later the demand that Joho surrenders his firearms, is in bad taste.
It‘s clear that the issue is not concerned with security of the county but political.
