National Assembly Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso has reiterated that she will be contesting the Bomet gubernatorial seat in the 2017 elections.
Speaking yesterday on KTN's Morning Express show, Dr Laboso said she will be campaigning on a platform of inclusive leadership as opposed to acrimony, which has been experienced under Governor Isaac Ruto.
"I have made it clear that I will be fighting it out with Ruto for the governor's seat. I have begun early because I want my interest to be registered and be known by all the people in Bomet County," said Laboso.
She said she will be seeking to harness the expertise of all professionals and leaders from the county so that faster development is realised in the county. She faulted Governor Ruto for what she termed as unnecessary 'war' against the Jubilee government.
