Mombasa, Kenya: The Kenya Ports Authority chairman Danson Mungatana (pictured) has urged Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and County Commissioner Nelson Marwa to end their war of words and work together for the benefit of residents.
"I want to ask our two leaders to stop trading words if they mind about their people and development at large," he said.
In another meeting, Mr Abdallah Mwaruwa said TNA leaders in the county are disturbed by the ongoing confrontation between Joho and Marwa.
"This is a month where people are supposed to be more humble and respect others. It is very unfortunate that someone like the governor, a respectable Muslim leader can engage in insults during this holy month of fasting," he said.
He said the office of the County commissioner, was a direct representation of the office of the President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, a constitutional office.
