Nairobi, Kenya: A woman was yesterday charged with forging a Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) document and presenting it to court.
Eunice Wakini Munene was accused that on March 27, 2014, with intent to defraud Kibera Court Number 5, unlawfully made a KNH correspondent letter purporting it to have been made by a physician at KNH.
She was also charged with failing to attend court contrary to section 149 0f the criminal procedure code.
The court heard that on April 4 at Kibera Law Courts, the accused failed to attend the court as required by law.
It is alleged that on March 16, 2011 the accused was arrested while trafficking drugs at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

She was taken to Kibera Law Courts where she was released on bail terms. She is said to have been attending the court proceedings as usual though she stopped on August 3, 2013.
The warrant of arrest was issued and she was arrested.
