Nairobi, Kenya: Two youth were yesterday arraigned in Kibera Law Courts and charged with stealing from their mother.
Maureen Wanjiru and Don Shammah Nyasero, both 18 years old, were accused that on May 6 at Jamhuri Phase Two estate in Dagoretti district within Nairobi, they jointly stole one mobile phone valued at Sh8,000 and cash amounting to Sh30,000.
The property alleged to have been stolen belongs to Sarah Nyambura. The accused are Form Four students. They denied the charges before acting senior principal magistrate Brian Ochoi.
The two have been in custody at Kilimani Police Station. The case will be mentioned on Wednesday.
