Eldoret, Kenya: Police in Eldoret have arrest more than 100 illicit brewers and traders found selling cheap alcoholic brands.
Police officers launched a joint operation aimed at flushing out criminals in the town. Out of those arrested, 11 were women.
“We started dealing with alien cases and other normal crimes but right now we have combined them with those selling illicit brews,” said County Administration Police Commander Augustus Mutia.
Mutia said those arrested were found selling killer brews while others were found drunk and were unable to produce documents showing they are Kenyans.
