NAIROBI, KENYA: Kenya Sevens rugby team have qualified for the Dubai Sevens quarterfinal after thrashing France 14-5 in a Pool A encounter, on Friday afternoon.
This was Shujaa’s second victory of the day after beating Portugal 10-7 in an early morning fixture.
Biko Adema’s conversions and tries from speedy Mwamba winger Collins Injera, Horrace Otieno is all that Paul Treu’s boys needed to outclass France, whom they beat last year in Dubai to clinch the Bronze medal.
Kenya are now second in the pool with six points behind leaders New Zealand’s All Blacks.
