Sofapaka key player James Situma believes Sofapaka have what it takes to win a trophy this season despite the massive gap between them and league leaders Gor Mahia.
With five matches to go, Batoto Ba Mungu are seven points adrift of the KPL leaders Gor Mahia and but under their new Ugandan coach, the teams believes their chances are still alive as Situma indicated.
“It’s not yet over and anything can happen in the remaining five matches. What we need to do is win all of them and see what happens next. We still have Gotv Shield and we are going to fight until the end,’’ said Situma.
Sofapaka have droped crucial points in the recent matches to give Gor Mahia an advantage as the title race enters its final stretch. There will be no league matches as teams engage in GoTv shield Cup matches and Sofapaka will be entertaining the second division side Finlays on Sunday at Nyayo stadium.
