Deputy President William Ruto’s wife, Rachel, has challenged women groups across the country to play a leading role in the fight against negative ethnicity.
Mrs Ruto said to prevent conflicts and help Kenya meet its growing economic needs, women must come together and engage in collective initiatives to rid the country of negative ethnicity.
“As women groups, we cannot prosper if there is no peace. We should always join hands with leaders and security agencies in preaching peace so that we can live as brothers and sisters irrespective of ethnic and political backgrounds,’ said Mrs Ruto.
