NAIROBI; KENYA: Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has sent Judiciary Chief Registrar Gladys Boss Shollei on compulsory leave pending a probe into claims of malpractices.
Making the verdict on Monday evening, the President of the JSC Chief Justice Willy Mutunga said the JSC committee deliberated and resolved that Mrs Shollei should go on compulsory to pave way into inquiry of alleged malpractices.
Judiciary Chief Registrar Gladys Boss Shollei while responding immediately on the verdict denied any wrongdoing and welcomed the probe saying she will contest the verdict.
“The JSC decision to suspend me is irregular and unfortunate; I reserve my right to contest the process and procedure used,” she said.
