Three employees of a bank in Nyamira County were scalded with hot tea at a client’s home.
At least five employees accompanied by a female armed Administration Police Officer, stormed the client’s home in Nyamira town on Saturday and demanded he repays Sh90,000 he had borrowed from Equity Bank in Nyamira. They accused him of defaulting.
A bitter exchange of words ensued as the employees unplugged a TV set and a desktop computer from the wall socket.
The enraged client splashed hot tea on the employees.

The alleged defaulter told The Counties he was forced to take the action after the employees refused to listen to him.
The alleged defaulter reported the happening at Nyamira Police Station and recorded a statement with the CID.
Branch Deputy Branch Manager, George Maloba said only the Branch Manager, who was out office, could comment on the incident.
