A third year engineering student of Moi University was found hanging from a tree in his rural home.
The student committed suicide at his family’s home in Makueni following a dispute with his parents.
Chester Muendi took a rope to his tree of death after the rat poison he had swallowed failed to kill him quickly.
Muendi left campus last week for holiday and travelled to his brother’s home in Nairobi.
