Muguga ward Member of County Assembly Eliud Ngugi (pictured) is dead.
Ngugi died of Covid-19 complications while undergoing treatment at the Kenyatta University hospital in Kiambu County this morning.
Reports reaching Standard Digital indicate that the MCA, popularly known as, 'Thithia", had been battling the coronavirus for a while.
Jubilee party officials in Kiambu have confirmed the news of his demise.

Until his death, Ngugi was a member of the Kiambu County Public Service and Administration committee.
