CNN International Correspondent Larry Madowo revealed an email purportedly sent by one of the 24 elders described in the Book of Revelation.

The email offers divine powers to "shut or wither a storm" and address the escalating effects of climate change.

"I am sending this email because I can be of help, I have powers to shut or wither a storm,” reads the email in part.

Written in all capital letters for dramatic effect, the email claims that the sender, allegedly a biblical figure seated around God’s throne, has been empowered to help humanity combat climate-related disasters.

"YOU WILL ASK YOURSELF WHERE DOES THIS MAN GET POWERS TO SHUT A STORM, GOD GAVE ME THESE POWERS," the message reads, promising to aid those affected by climate change.

The retention notice indicates the email will expire on March 3, 2026, adding to the surreal nature of the claim.

Madowo captioned the email "One of the 24 elders from the Bible emailed me ," accompanied by a screenshot of the email.

The reference to the 24 elders stems from Revelation 4:4, where they are depicted as heavenly figures wearing white robes and golden crowns, symbolizing divine authority.

According to GotQuestions.org, these elders are often interpreted as representatives of the Church or redeemed humanity, though their identity remains a matter of theological debate.
