Kenyans to benefit from new regional training plan

Kenya: Twenty Third Century Systems (TTCS), the Pan-African business solutions provider, has launched its information and communications technology (ICT) graduate trainee programme to develop a skills base and drive the growth of the continent.

 TTCS has presence in Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Malawi, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

The scheme, which started in 2011 as an incubation programme for the global software developer, SAP, initially began as a project for graduate trainees from Zimbabwe, where TTCS is headquartered, but now attracts candidates from all over Africa.

Out of the 25 students drawn from 10 African countries, Kenya had two. Group Chief Executive of TTCS, Ellman Chanakira, said the programme would spearhead innovations which would form the backbone of Africa's economic growth.
