Kenya's Prime Minister Raila Odinga will commission a Sh3.2 billion water project covering the country's towns of Nambale, Busia, and Kakamega on Friday.
The commissioning of the project by Lake Victoria North Water Services Board will be at Kakamega's Muliro Gardens.
Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi, Water Minister, Charity Ngilu, and some MPs are expected to grace the occasion.
Officials from Germany, which sponsored the project, and Water PS David Stower will also attend.

The Board is a State Corporation established under Section 51 of the Water Act 2002.
Its jurisdiction covers the entire Western region and parts of the North Rift, including Marakwet East, Marakwet West, Wareng, Eldoret East, Eldoret West, Trans Nzoia West, Trans Nzoia East, Kwanza, Nandi North and Nandi Central.
