A group of seasoned politicians have been driven out of town by some losers who have recruited ground troops to make vote hunting fields very hostile.
Grapevine has learnt that one such politician who has organised many a national protest against the government is tasting a dose of his own medicine and can not even hold a public rally in his home ground.
Trouble is the independents are calling the shots in the region and the politically correct candidates are having a hard time time trying to mobilise supporters to conduct serious campaigns.
Things have become so thick that some politicians are skipping traditional vote-hunting occasions such as funerals for fear of being humiliated.
