Two Cabinet ministers were among five people who narrowly escaped death after their helicopter crash-landed in Keiyo South District.
Roads minister Franklin Bett and his Forestry and Wildlife counterpart Noah Wekesa were on a routine tour of forests in the North and South Rift during the incident.
The chopper’s landing glides were extensively damaged during the 3pm crash-landing at Kaptarkok Primary School in Mokwo location.
"We started feeling the chopper sway and dance in different directions. Quick action by the pilot to identify a landing spot saved our lives. God is great," Bett told The Standard On Sunday on telephone.
None one was injured.
