A man believed to have killed a woman and three children in Kisumu last week was arrested in Siaya.
Residents bayed for his blood when he was brought to the Central Police Station in Kisumu yesterday.

Efforts by Nyanza deputy PPO Larry Kieng’ and Kisumu OCPD John Mwinzi were overwhelmed by the crowd, forcing them to bring in four police dogs to disperse the public.
Arraigned in court
"We have the suspect and trials against him will be instituted," pleaded Kieng’. Mwinzi said the suspect would be arraigned in court today.
"We want to kill him too. If you let him to go to prison, he will kill many more innocent people," shouted a man from the crowd.
Police at Kodiaga in Gem, along the Kisumu-Busia road, where the public had identified him and wanted to lynch him, rescued the suspect.
The suspect was spotted selling a radio when police from Dudi Police Post were trailing him following a tip-off. Police in Siaya expressed confidence they had arrested the right man. The suspect is said to have been moving around the market trying to look for a buyer for his radio.
A person who claimed to know him shouted and attracted the attention of the public. He is alleged to have committed the murders in Kisumu’s Nyalenda estate.
