Two nominees for county executive positions have sued a petitioner whose affidavits were among the grounds relied on to discredit their appointments.
Naomi Mutie and Faith Wathome, who had been proposed to head the Water and Education dockets respectively, and who were rejected by MCAs during vetting, filed a case against the petitioner, Charles Kyalo, and lawyer Alfred Muia, who allegedly swore affidavits that were later withdrawn by the petitioner.
Kyalo and Muia denied eight counts of forgery and conspiracy to defeat justice.
