Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone has credited Tanzanian rapper turned politician Professor Jay as the best musician he has ever worked with.
Speaking exclusively to Heads Up, Chameleone revealed that working with Jay back in 2008, on their hit song Ndivyo Sivyo, was one of his best moments.
“I was fascinated by the way he sung in Swahili back then. My Swahili was not as good so I really liked how he pronounced Sivyo Ndivyo. That man is good at what he does and we had a blast while recording,” Chameleone said.
The Valu Valu musician was in Kenya courtesy of Coke Studio Africa where he recorded a mash up alongside Mozambique’s Neyma. His sentiments come just a month after he claimed that Diamond is not as big as people think he is.
He added that he is way bigger than the Tanzanian singer and that he can hold sold-out shows in Tanzania, unlike Diamond who cannot sell out shows in Uganda.
