The KCB Group has entered into an agreement with Easy Taxi, online taxi service to enable customers pay for their rides using the KCB Pepea Debit Card.
The partnership will see KCB and Easy Taxi— a mobile phone-based application —customers to download the App and link it with their Pepea Cards. Customers will then be able to pay for taxi services using the debit cards.
Speaking during the official unveiling of the partnership, Easy Taxi Kenya Chief Executive Officer Mr. Paul Ndichu noted that the incorporation of KCB Pepea into the Easy Taxi App will increase convenience for customers and reduce over-reliance on cash or mobile money to pay for taxi services.
