Kenya: Machakos deputy governor Bernard Kiala survives impeachment after 17 out of 25 senators’ vote against motion.
17 senators voted NO, 5 voted YES and 1 senator abstained from the motion.
The Motion to impeach Mr Kiala was brought to the House by Mutituni Ward Representative Joseph Kalunde.
