The whereabouts of a Kenyan woman who went missing in London since 2000 continues to baffle her family.
The woman, simply known as Purity, arrived in the UK in 1997 and lost contact with her parents in 2000.
Mister Seed, a popular Kenyan blogger in London, told The Standard on Saturday that Purity was a former student at Kabare High School, Kirinyaga and Moi University, Eldoret. She hails from Kianduma-Kirimunge Village in Kirinyaga.
“Those who remember her say she went to the UK with Pastor Wachira of Nakuru,” he added.
Purity used to live in Greenford, West London, and moved to North London. Her last known address is Osborne Road, Finsbury Park.
The woman’s friend identified only as Alice said she was her room-mate at her last address.
“I moved out in 2000 but in those days Purity was depressed. She was not okay,” she said.
