Businesswoman and reality television star Zari Hassan has finally addressed weeks of online speculation about her appearance, confirming that she recently underwent a cosmetic procedure to subtly enhance her face.
In a video shared on her Snapchat, Zari clarified that she did not undergo a full surgical facelift, contrary to claims circulating on social media.
Instead, she opted for a temporal lift around her eyes to subtly lift the outer corners, insisting the procedure was far less invasive than a traditional facelift.
"I didn't do a full face. I did a temporal lift around the eyes because a full facelift involves you being cut. I'm not gatekeeping," Zari explained.
She said the procedure was intended to give her a refreshed look rather than dramatically alter her appearance.
"I had a facelift, slightly enhanced the corners of my eyes. It looks good. I am still a very beautiful woman," she said, brushing off criticism from online detractors.
The mother of five also defended her decision, arguing that her appearance is a personal matter and a worthwhile investment in her career.
According to Zari, maintaining her image is an important part of her brand and helps her secure endorsement deals and other business opportunities.
She stressed that what she chooses to do with her body is entirely her decision and should not be subject to public judgment.
Zari also reassured fans that the results are not permanent, saying the effects of the procedure are temporary.
Her remarks come after photos and videos of her sparked widespread debate online, with many social media users speculating that she had undergone extensive facial surgery.
