DJ Crystal Kenya has announced her departure from the Dohty Family entertainment outfit after a nine-year stint, marking the end of a significant chapter in her career.
In a statement shared on Instagram, she described the move as the beginning of a new journey, while expressing gratitude to the team that helped shape her growth over the past decade.
"After a 9-year incredible journey, I've made the decision to part ways with Dohty Family," she wrote.
DJ Crystal paid tribute to Dohty Family founder Kriss Darlin, thanking him for giving her the opportunity to be part of the platform and for the role it played in her personal and professional development.
"I want to start by thanking Kriss Darlin for the opportunity to be part of this platform. The growth I've experienced as an artist and as a person over this time has been immense, and I'm grateful for the doors that were opened for me," she said.
During her time at Dohty Family, DJ Crystal established herself as one of Kenya's most recognisable female DJs, earning a loyal fan base through performances, events and collaborations with fellow entertainers.
She also thanked her colleagues within the outfit, acknowledging the relationships and experiences built over the years.
"To my fellow DJs and MCs - thank you for the collaboration, the energy on and off the decks, and the camaraderie. It's been a privilege to grow alongside such talented artists," she added.
The announcement has sparked speculation among fans about her next move, with many taking to social media to congratulate her and express anticipation over what lies ahead.
While she did not disclose details about her future plans, DJ Crystal hinted that a major announcement is on the way.
