Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe has sparked dating rumours with American rapper Rick Ross after posting a screenshot of a past conversation with the Hustlin’ hitmaker on Instagram.
In the exchange, Ross wrote, “You are mine,” to which she responded, “You are mine too.”
Huddah, born AlHuda Njoroge, captioned the screenshot while tagging the Grammy Award-winning rapper: “I’ll do anything you say ’coz YOU THE BOSS.”
Her post quickly stirred mixed reactions among Kenyans on social media.
This is not the first time Ross has made headlines in East Africa over alleged romantic links.
In 2021, Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto and the rapper were reported to be dating and even made several public appearances together.
However, Mobetto clarified in early 2022 that they were only close friends and not romantically involved. She is now married to Yanga SC footballer Stephane Aziz Ki.
Huddah’s relationship history remains largely private, though in May 2025, she revealed that she had been married for four years before ending the union in 2024.
“Glad I do my things low-key. I was married for four years straight. Last year it just had to end because I realised it wasn’t it. I choose peace over any relationship. You stress me within three hours after our wedding, I'll divorce you. No one died for being single, but many die because of being in wrong relationships,” she wrote on her Instagram stories at the time.
Earlier in 2025, Mumias East MP Peter Salasya also attempted to woo Huddah, though unsuccessfully.
Reactions to the Rick Ross post were varied. Instagram user Zarinah wrote, “This dude is for the community. Anyways, congratulations girl.”
MC Edgar added, “Enyewe pesa ndio inabonga… bro didn’t even say hi; ashaambiwa ‘you are mine too.’”
Clout Wallace joked, “Salasya typing and deleting,” while another user, Josephine Moore, said, “He moves around a lot, this one, but we get—hustle don’t stop.”
