It’s exactly one year since the mysterious death of former Homa Bay Senator Otieno Kajwang’.
If he were alive today, Kenyans would be enjoying his antics on the corruption saga bedevilling Jubilee administration.
Begging questions remain unanswered and Kenyans are still curious to know more about the circumstances that led to his death.
One question, which has not been answered, is when Kajwang’ arrived at his Runda home on the fateful day as reliable sources had confirmed that he left Parliament at around 9.30pm.
He didn’t use his car which was reported to be at the garage.
Which car did he use to go home?
What transpired when he arrived?
Did he complain of any pain or complication?
Why was he driven to Mater Hospital in South B, bypassing Aga Khan and MP Shah?
It was reported that Kajwang’s personal doctor was at Mater, which is why he was rushed there. Is that true?
Family lawyer James Orengo also hinted that Kajwang’, just like Tom Mboya, Robert Ouko and Argwings Kodhek, did not die a natural death.
The autopsy report according to Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor, revealed that Kajwang’ had four of his ribs broken, a wound to the chest and some kind of paralysis on one side of the heart.
What could have broken his ribs?
We can point a finger at the accident Kajwang’ was involved in on November 14 last year on his way to attend the ODM meeting in Oyugis, but one question would remain unanswered:
Would Kajwang’ be able to go about his businesses normally after the accident with broken ribs for all those days until November 18, 2014?
