Only days after they were voted this year’s Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Kenyan boy group Sauti Sol have been announced top royalty earners in a statement released by the Performers Rights Society of Kenya (PRiSK) yesterday.

With R-Kay emerging the top among Kenya’s 2013 top ten royalties earners, Sauti Sol were placed second with Wyre, Daddy Owen and Willy Paul following closely, in that order.

Also in the list is Jack Sam, P-Unit, DNA, Luck Njeri and Gloria Muliro.

Ironically, R-Kay, who happens to be the highest paid member is the organisation’s chairman while Angela Ndambuki, who happens to be the CEO, was the lowest paid member.
