5 common grooming mistakes men dislike about women

Everyone agrees to the fact that women are conscious about their grooming. They arduously engage in padding each energy they have towards looking good. For men, the way a woman takes care of herself is just but enough to show how far the relationship is likely to go.

If you are a lady perhaps in those scaring age ends (thirties and over) planning to settle down, or just dating, make sure that your impression compass is always pointing north. You can do this by keeping in mind some of the most common grooming mistakes women commit and you should avoid.

Sloppy shaving
One Saturday I was in high moods, and it found when I was single again; courtesy of my girlfriend who left me. I was in the city centre, and wanted to board a ‘mat’ home. As usual, there were long queues.

My phone was off and I couldn’t find something to keep me busy. Standing in front of me was this tall, chocolate, warm lady with posteriors that could bring Africa to a standstill! I composed myself and garnered diction.

I introduced myself and hit the ground running; I cared less if I’d get her or not. As she was positively responding, a ‘matatu’ came and it was time to board. Voila, when she stretched her arms to hold the metallic cross bar just right behind the driver’s seat to leverage herself in, I saw fuzzy armpit.

Need I say more? She sat at the front seat just right behind the driver’s and I went to the back; far left! My pursuit was shattered by the sight of her unshaven spiky armpit. I wouldn’t want that for a girlfriend!

Poor oral hygiene
A lady’s smile is the cutest form of curve ever invented; it assuages one naturally! To complete the charm that comes with it, is a mouth that smells fresh any time of day.

It’s completely unacceptable to see green remains or a bean cover stuck on or between the teeth of a lovely lass. Actually, ‘punishable by law.’

Men are quick to notice such! There’s nothing that pushes a man away as a lady’s mouth that smells foul; no man would love standing that-even the hardest of them all.

Dry skin
Dry skin is not touchable. Scaly elbows and cracked heels in a lady invites not! There are moisturisers for crying out loud; make good use out of them, ladies.

Do it for yourself first and then second for men. Ladies need to care for their skins daily to look younger for longer. If you have a super dry skin as a lady, opt for coconut or olive oil. Dry skin is never fun for us men.

Wrong use of foundation
You may be tricked to thinking that men know little or nothing at all about make up. We know a lot; we know foundation.

Foundation is supposed to even out your skin tone and create a more flawless look than is usually bestowed by nature alone. If a lady’s foundation draws attention to itself, then she’s probably using it wrongly. Worst offenses note are: using too much (that dreaded cakey look), using the wrong colour, or even failing to blend the foundation at the lady’s jawline.

We want no ‘ghosts’. Ladies apply good foundation.

Bad hair-do
It is true men like natural-looking hair. Some ladies mistake this to mean ‘nothing should be done on my hair’ and proceed to school or work as they woke up.

Some are so intricate that it looks like one stray breeze could make the whole thing fall apart. Ladies if you have no time to your disposal, consider simple yet beautiful hairstyles.

Try and avoid too many styling products and hairstyles. Men want to be able to touch your hair without having to wash their hands afterwards. We like soft and simple hairstyles; not that one called ‘helicopter’

Beautiful ladies, please don’t make these common grooming mistakes that make you think you are ‘the untouchables’, yet yes you are so untouchable because we wouldn’t want to be associated with you.
