Singer and songwriter Nadia Mukami has opened up on her struggle with weight. The Si Rahisi hitmaker said she has had problems losing weight and although she loves her new body, she is a bit insecure.

"I am trying to get to 60KGs! it's so hard losing weight! Don't get it twisted I love the new thick me exclusive of mummy pouch, double chin and my wrestling built-like arms? I struggled with my weight, I even don't post a lot of photos and I had so much of client work because I was soo insecure," she said.

The mother of one, however, said she is determined to bounce back in shape and will not stop until she gets to her desired weight.

"It's Nadia time! I have been trying to keep fit because of the performances! Let's say adjusting was sooooo hard for me!! But there are no shortcuts!!! I have to work on being fit! Let's go!!!" She added.

Nadia and Arrow Bwoy welcomed their son, Kai, in March this year. Appearing for the first time in public after giving birth, Nadia said motherhood is not a walk in the park, calling for adequate preparation before bringing forth a newborn.

"Motherhood is not a joke; it is not easy. As a woman you do more, you make the most sacrifices. The changes that happen in your body, when you have post-partum, just crying you don't know why you are crying but you just cry," she said at an interview with KISS FM.

Echoing her sentiments, Arrow Bwoy advised men who are not ready to be fathers to use contraceptives.

"Boychild kama hauko ready na hizi mbwe mbwe za pregnancy journey tumia tu jwala na ukijipata hapa please cooperate. (Boychild if you are not ready for the drama that comes with pregnancy journey just use protection and if you find yourself in this situation please cooperate)" he said.
