Statistics show that YouTube has 30 million daily active users and more than 5 billion videos have been uploaded to the platform.

Today we highlight a few channels that have Kenyans streaming every now and then:

Kenyan vlogger Joan Munyi, popularly known as yummy mummy is a YouTube content creator.

She has a large following on her channel where she showcases her lifestyle targeting young parents. She documents her life events including pregnancy, anniversaries and Christmas preparations.  Munyi also creates content on fitness and ways of losing weight in months, which interest of her viewers.  

  1. Wabosha Maxine
Wabosha Maxine.

Wabosha is a Kenyan beauty and makeup artist craving to establish a niche as an eyebrow expert. She has risen through the ranks to work with popular brands and partnering with popular personalities.

She has a large following on her YouTube channel, ‘Beauty by Wabosha’ where she showcases do it yourself (DIY) make up routines.

Through makeup, she has gained popularity among Kenyan youth and all who love the art of transformation. She is also a student at the University of Nairobi, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Talk of beauty and brains.

  1. The Wa Jesus Family’
The Wa Jesus family.

The Wa Jesus family is a young Kenyan couple brought together by love. The two lovebirds, Kabi and Milly showcase videos of their family’s various experiences including their wedding and having their first baby.

Milly and Kabi first drew attention to Kenyans as a couple after Kabi proposed to his now wife on live television. Other than their undisputable love for Jesus, the two have been giving their fans on social media serious couple goals.

  1. Frankie ‘Just Gym It’
Frankie.

Frankie is a fitness instructor who is known for founding Just Gym It, a fitness and nutrition consultancy. He is well-known for sharing lifestyle photos mixed with fitness and workout related content to his Instagram and YouTube channels. He runs an online web series through YouTube entitled Alpha Beta.

Frankie and Maureen Waititu had served Kenyans serious couple goals, admired by many.

They later broke up much to the astonishment of their fans, but they said that they would keep their relationship civil for the sake of their children.
