KTN Swahili news anchor Zubeida Koome is in mourning following the passing of her grandmother.
Taking to her Instagram to share the heartbreaking news, Zubeida explained that her grandmother passed away a day to her planned visit.
“My heart is in pieces. My only grandma is gone. I promised to come to see you tomorrow, why didn’t you wait for me?” Posed Zubeida.
Zubeida added that even though the sting of death had robbed her of their relationship, she will forever be grateful for the great times and memories they shared.
“As I hold your ID and burial permit, it pains me, I choose not to question God but rather thank him for the great times we shared. I love you, grandma. You had a big heart, you taught us to Love...I’ll forever be grateful, safiri salama, tutaonana baadaye,” she added.
The media personality has however not revealed details concerning the burial arrangements or where and when her late grandmother will be laid to rest.
Condoling with the celebrated anchor, her followers urged her to stay strong despite the hard time she and her family were going through.
