A man, 27, who exhumed his father's remains in Nakuru to allegedly retrieve leather shoes has been arrested.
The bizarre incident occurred at the family's home in Maseno village, Subukia sub-county.
Nakuru Police Commander Stephen Matu said the suspect wanted to sell the shoes the late John Ndonye was buried in back in 2015.
It was not clear what state the suspect's mental health was in, but the police referred him to a psychiatrist for examination before his arraignment.
