Hebrew word gamal means 'going without', which describes a camel's ability to go without food or water for days and as Akhenaton, King of Egypt in the 14th Century BC states, it beareth labor, and heat, and hunger, and thirst, through deserts of sand, and fainteth not; so the fortitude of a man shall sustain it through all perils.
So maybe it was payback time when National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale decided to enjoy the nutritious camel milk using Somali traditional “Ameel” in Garrisa yesterday soon after veterinarians vaccinated his entire camel flock as well as those of neighboring farms.
He thanked Governor Hon Ali Korane for organising the vaccination drive.
