A video of a preacher ranting in a matatu after he was handed Sh1 bob ‘sadaka’ has caused quite a stir on social media.
In the video, the unidentified preacher is heard angrily lecturing the passengers for what he termed as disrespect.
He blasted the giver for looking down on him as a beggar explaining that the offering was ‘satanic’ and posed whether the passengers would give their own children the same amount.
“This are the things that I hate kunidharau, mimi sio beggar and I will never be a beggar in my life. Ata wewe huwezi pea mtoto wako hii? Wewe unaweza pea mtoto wako hii?Unaweza mpea? You can’t.
“How comes you can give me a man of God mwenye atasimama kwa mwili wako aiombee ukienda ndani ya shimo na arushe mchanga wa kwanza kwa mwili wako, that is satanic.
“Mimi, I am a man of God nasimama kwa sanduku mama yako mbali baba yako mbali, madugu zako mbali ili niombee na nichote mchanga wa kwanza nirushe juu yako ili marafiki zako waje badae wafunike wamalize. This is satanic!” He ranted.
