After arduous campaigns, elections were finally held at Moi Educational Centre in Nairobi.
In the poll overseen by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) officials, Class Eight’s Mich Odette was declared the winner of the presidential election after beating his two opponents.
In his victory speech, while accompanied by his running mate, Kaylan Biwott, Odette promised to serve all fairly, including his opponents and their supporters.
As the president elect made the promise, he shed tears perhaps when he realised the enormity of the task ahead of him.
Luckily for him, his father was at hand to give him a shoulder to cry on. No one contested Odette’s win or accused anyone of meddling with the IEBC’S servers.
