The man, Vincent Omondi alias Vince Dancer, is now well groomed and fresher than ever and took to social media to thank Kenyans for their outpouring support to get him back on his feet.

Omondi through a Facebook post however appealed for help to get a job in order to support himself and pay his bills as he surges ahead after rehab.

“I thank all my social media fans, if now only I had a permanent job or at least something to give me rent, fare and food clothing will come in time but I THANK you all and hope for your continued support I LOVE YOU all and May God Bless you,” posted Omondi.

Omondi on that fateful day recovered the bundle of cash from the lady at Kimathi street who was heading to a bank nearby to deposit Sh700,000.

His heroic deed handed him praise and well-wishers sent him to rehab after it was revealed that he was battling drug addiction.

Omondi ended up in the streets after his life had took a drastic turn when his mother and father died leaving him and his sisters to fend for themselves in the streets.

Prior to that, he was reportedly an IT graduate from St Pauls University and worked at Nakumatt.
