When it comes to matters of intimacy, I tend to think that men have stronger sex drives than women. Some people will say that women love sex the same way that men do, but the truth is women have a lot of major priorities than just sex. The following are patterns to prove that men have stronger sex drives than women.

1. Men think about sex more than women. Studies show that men under 60 think about sex at least once a day. Women on the other hand, only a quarter say that they think about it that often. Studies also show that men have more varied sexual fantasies compared to women.

2. Men tend to seek for sex more avidly. Men will want sex frequently throughout the phases of a relationship. Studies also show that gay men have more sex compared to lesbians. When it comes to masturbation, two-thirds of men say they do it more frequently while only about 40% of women masturbate.

3. Women’s sex drives are influenced by the environment. The willingness to have sex when it comes to women often varies a lot compared to men. Women will be influenced by factors such as values and religion but this does not apply to men. Women who go to church more often or follow cultural beliefs are less likely to have sex but men show no connection when it comes to such things.

4. Women’s turn-ons are very complicated than men’s. Turning on a woman is not as easy as turning on a man. Most women don’t even know what exactly turns them on. Men however, can be turned on at anytime and anywhere. Men are more likely to be turned or by both male-female and female-female erotic films, while most women get turned on by male-female erotic films.

5. Men experience orgasms differently than women. Studies show that woman can take up to 11 minutes to reach orgasm while men can take only 4 minutes to reach orgasm from the point of entry. 75% of men reach orgasm during sex while only 26% of women reach orgasm during sex.

6. Men’s libido is more responsive to drugs. Erectile dysfunction in men can be easily treated with medication. Boosting or lowering libido in men can also be cured by the use of drugs. The same case however, does not apply to women. Treatment to boost libido in women is not as effective when compared to men. Testosterone has been proved to work faster in men with lower libido but slower in women.

7. Sex is more straight-forward for men. For women to arrive at sexual desires, they tend to take different routes than men. Women have to think about it and anticipate for it so that they get there (sexual desire). It is the longing the fuels the sexual drive in women. For men, sex is very simple to them since it is straightforward.
