There are so many thing social media can bring you, including the joy of an established international celebrity finding your stuff and reposting it.
American rapper Snoop Dogg on Thursday reposted a video of the leading Kenyan boyband Sauti sol on his Instagram and the Kenyans on Instagram could not be calmed down!
Regardless of how you see it, it is a big deal when an artiste of Snoop’s calibre acknowledges that something, a form of art, is good.
The video he reposted is that of Sauti Sol singing along to a remix of their gospel track Kuliko Jana featuring Upperhill Redfourth Choir during one of their Soma Soma Initiative tours.
The 45-year old actor cum rapper captioned with “If we could all live in harmony”
The video was originally uploaded by Sauti sol in 2016 right around the time they decided to do the remix with the Redfourth Chorus.
Kuliko Jana is a praise song off their third album Live and Die in Afrika, which has won them nominations and awards.
