Talented gospel artiste, Peace Mulu, was on Sunday afternoon discharged from the hospital after undergoing surgery to rectify her fractured leg; sustained from a grisly road accident in early January.

The singer famous for her Ombea Adui Yako song was in the 14-seater matatu headed to Embu from Nairobi which collided head on with a personal car in Kangundo leaving her and two other passengers injured.

Peace was quickly rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital where she had since been receiving medical treatment.

Last week, gospel artistes Emmy Kosgei, Rufftone, Gloria Muliro, Victor Mbuvi, Hellen Mtawali among others came together to raise funds to offset her medical bill.

A jubilant Peace left the hospital in the company of her relatives and friends.

She thanked all those who supported and showed her love throughout the difficult time.

Gospel artistes will on Sunday, February 8, hold a fundraiser at the Redeemed Gospel Church in Huruma at 2pm to help in clearing the hospital bill.

The fundraiser’s organisers are calling on friends to support the singer to clear the accumulated medical bill.
