The mystery surrounding the death of celebrated Kikuyu Benga singer Murimi wa Kahalf was evident as family members started making burial plans on Saturday.
Records taken from the 'Ino ni Momo' singer's Facebook show a man near despair as he urged his fans to pray for him as he 'walked through the shadow of death'.
"When you walk in the valley of the shadow of death, it's only the spirit of God that can lead you. Lord, reign forever," he posted about a week ago.
Murimi passed away on Thursday evening after a short struggle with what is said to have been a chronic disease.
