Newly-elected Starehe MP Charles Kanyi aka Jaguar took to social media to mark his late mum’s 17th anniversary.
“When I was young and going through many hardships, I promised my mum that I would make her proud. Sadly, 17years down the line, she is not here to see how her little son turned out to be, everything in God’s time forever in my heart mama,” said Jaguar.
Jaguar revealed that after the death of his mom, he was forced to look for odd jobs.
But his headteacher at Magutuini Primary School and his guardians helped him to go back to school.

“When my mum passed away, I had just completed Class 8 and didn’t have someone to take me to high school. Mr Gathigo listened to me and allowed me to get to his class. He changed my life and I will forever thank God for him,” he added.
Hours after being sworn in, Jaguar released a news song as he had promised earlier.
