A woman was arraigned in court for attacking her husband on April 3.
Sarah Atieno was accused of beating and injuring Samson Odero after she allegedly found him with another woman.
Atieno was also accused of damaging a television set valued at Sh28,000 and other household items belonging to her husband.
The court was told that Atieno who had parted ways with her husband — and were living separately — walked unannounced into her husband’s house and found him with another woman.
Angered, Atieno is said to have thrown stones into the house and destroyed the said property. She also bit her husband in the stomach leaving him with serious injuries.

Atieno however denied all the charges claiming that, “I’ve lived with him for more than 23 years. On that day, I walked into the house and found him with another woman.”
She was released on a Sh20,000 cash bail and surety of similar amount.
The case will be heard on July 21.
