Standing ovation when I unleashed striking points during school debate at aged 10 – they would never know I had ‘crammed’ the points from a write-up by a helpful brother.

Day I took so faint a penalty kick during an Inter-village finals match that the goalkeeper stopped it with one finger, and that cost us the trophy.

Dr Willy Mutunga, President of the Supreme Court of Kenya; I’m yet to meet anyone more humble.
