Quite the mix genius, Marvin Sande a.k.a Dj Sadic has not only mastered his art on the decks, but also passed his prowess to other upcoming artistes over the years thanks to his Genius Deejay School. Impressively, his love for music has also seen him perform top hits such as “I’m walking” and “Pages za Bible” and became a multi-award winner in the gospel scene.

Born and raised in Shauri Moyo Estate, Sadic attended Morrison School for his primary school education, and then went ahead to Eastleigh High School. It was during this time that his love for music developed and he got quite interested in the Kenyan music scene.

Back in the day when they held gospel concerts for the teens, he was there and it was during this time that he got to meet other talented artistes that would later be big in the Kenyan industry.

In 2011, Dj Sadic became a multiple awards winner when he won the Groove Gospel Song of the year for “Praise Him” and Groove Awards Deejay of the Year. From then on, his deejaying prowess saw him host shows on national television including KTN’s Tendereza where he currently hosts.

Aside from his Deejay School, he also runs Genius Entertainment, an entertainment company where he offers an array of services including wedding and corporate deejaying.

However it’s not always a walk in the park as Sadic was quick to mention that people have very high expectations of someone when they are in the public eye forgetting that one is simply human just like them, but he handles all that by staying faithful to his calling.

Having transformed the Kenyan showbiz industry, Dj Sadic is a force to reckon with, no wonder upcoming artistes and deejay look up to him for mentorship. It is on this note that he is our MCM today.
