Celebrated Tanzanian rapper Golden Jacob Mbunda alias Godzilla is dead.
According to Global Publishers, Godzilla suddenly passed away on Tuesday night at their home in Dar es Salaam.
According to the deceased’s sister Joyce Mbunda, prior to his demise, the rapper complained of stomach pains, high blood pressure and diabetes.
Born in January 5 1988 in Morogoro, Godzilla thrilled fans with hit tracks such as “Milele” alongside Alikiba and “First Class” featuring Mwasiti.
His remains have been taken to the Lugalo Military Hospital in Dar es Salaam.
