Fidel Eli Shammah, Ken Mwendwa, Joel Maina and Abe Kiptanui who form music quartet Leband attacked their music producer MG for frustrating them and delaying their song "Number 1" by almost half a year.
"We kept calling and calling he did not pick up, and so we decided to shoot the video using a demo just waiting for the song,” Fidel, the lead singer said.
“When I posted my story on social media, many people came out saying he has done the same thing. What he does is ask for money but he does not perform to the expectations as per the deal.” he said.
The story was revived after Redsan attacked his producer Dr Sappy and left him nursing minor injuries in hospital.
Fidel reached boiling point after asking MG's whereabouts and was told he was in Kisumu only to bump into him in town while on his way to school.

MG then, out of guilt, allegedly called him and apologized. He asked the band to come to his studio for another session but things turned ugly after a heated argument.
Fidel and MG got into a confrontation and Fidel picked up a microphone stand and hit MG which was then followed by a series of blows between the two.
Eventually, MG sent them half the money they had paid him for studio time and they parted ways.
On social media, MG narrated the incident said the group wanted to destroy his studio and name but he was well prepared for them.
"For those who know me, I have built this dream from 2006. In 2016 Leband came to studio and tried to beat me up in studio throwing my equipment around (unlike sappy walipata niko ready)," he said.
"Yesterday I went through the worst bullying possible. After sleepless nights of working on Leband I never thought I would do this but words could not get to them.
"So like always my work speaks, the musicians that I hosted, fed, nurtured and loved felt its right to troll me after paying me a deposit of 6k and me having to beg for the rest." he said.
He then discredited their talent, saying that they sounded awful before he came into the picture and are not thankful for his help.
"Redsan must have really started up something (at least he is a legend) so dear Leband, for every trash and lies you put out am going to remove processing. I am also posting their song Number 1 without MG if they continue with this nonsense and you going to love it.
“Le band you know how bad you sounded. As a producer am way used to being forgotten, disrespected, underpaid and told to be humble when I speak up about payment my contracts and quotation are disregarded and shunned." said MG.
